How Declutter Scout works

For buyers

1. Search or browse. Use the search box, pick a category, or start from your area.
2. Filter. Narrow by price range, condition (brand new, fairly used / UK used, used), how recently it was posted, or verified sellers only.
3. Open the original post. Tapping a listing photo opens the seller's Instagram post in a new tab. That's where you see all the photos and message the seller.
4. Inspect and pay the seller directly. Follow our buyer safety tips.

How listings get here

We review new posts from the declutter sellers we follow. For each post we record the title, asking price in naira, condition, category and area, and keep a copy of the main photo so the page loads quickly on mobile data. Where a seller's caption is unclear we leave a field blank rather than guess.

We re-check active listings regularly. When a seller marks an item sold, edits the caption to “sold”, or deletes the post, we mark it sold or remove it. Listings that are more than 60 days old and can't be re-checked are hidden automatically.

• IG verified the account is verified by Instagram.
• ✔ Scout Verified our team has reviewed the seller's history and contact details, and the seller keeps an active monthly verification.

No badge is a guarantee. Always inspect before you pay.
